A Preface of Italian Politics

Monday, July 19th, 2010

Italy is somewhat of a deviation in the democratic sweep of Europe. Italy took up a new constitution way back in 1948 after the disturbing experience of fascism and war. Uncommonly the two Houses of the Italian Parliament have the identical rights and powers – an exacting form of parliamentary democracy recognized as an ideal bicameralism. Though, this is distant as of being the only peculiarity of the Italian political structure. Politics in Italy is regularly beset with disgrace and bribery and, at times, it has seemed astounding that the Italian economic system could be so strong, when the Italian political scheme has been so chaotic.
